Glebe Library
Glebe Library is located in a historic building built in 1880. It is a place full of charm and history where you can study, read and borrow books. Unfortunately, the library has no graphic identity. Therefore, the purpose of this project was to enhance the unique spirit of this place by highlighting its historical aspect but also to promote the importance of education.
Three famous characters have been selected to represent the new identity of the place. Victor Hugo, Albert Einstein and Nelson Mandela are people who have made history, and for whom education has played an important role. We can see their portraits and one of their quotes on print and digital communication media. To keep this historical aspect, the logo has been designed as a vector representation of the building. Finally, vintage colours and duotone photographs were used to further support this historical aspect.
