Bulky Bee
Our society needs to progressively reduce single-use plastic consumption and avoid food waste to protect the environment. Bulky Bee was designed to contribute to both objectives. This ethical and environmentally friendly packaging would support new consumption habits.
The challenge of this project was to provide to consumers reusable bags suitable for bulk food. Many research has been necessary to define the materials of the bags but also to understand consumer needs. As a result, the bags are made with organic cotton, embedded with jojoba oil to preserve and prevents food from oxidation and beeswax to ensure fabric’s impermeability and protect food from moisture. The materials selected make the bags light and solid at the same time.
